COMPETITION DIVISIONS Poster Division: Grades 4-5 Junior Division: Grades 6-8 Senior Division: Grades 9-12

All teams entering the Kern County History Day competition must be composed of students enrolled at the same school. A Group (for group entries) consists of 2-5 students.

STUDENT ENTRY LIMITSIndividual entries will not be limited by grade level. Entry limits will be set per school according to the number of grades enrolled. The maximum number of entries per school is the equivalent of one entry per grade level for Historical Papers, Individual Exhibits, Group Exhibits, Individual Performances, Group Performances, Individual Documentaries, and Group Documentaries.

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT - ENTRY LIMITS Middle School, grades 6,7,8 (Limit for all entries: 3) Junior High Schools, grades 7,8 (Limit for all entries: 2) High Schools, grades 9,10,11,12 (Limit for all entries: 4)

The Poster Category is open to grades 4 and 5 only. Each school is limited to a maximum of 2 entries per school.
