This home page provides resources for Countywide History/Social Studies teachers and school administrators.  The KCSOS Curriculum, Instruction, and Accountability Department provides a wide level of support in all curriculum areas.  This site is dedicated to providing support in the area of History and Social Studies.  Links to the California Framework and the Contents Standards are provided on the left side of the page.  Links are also provided to a variety of Professional Organization as well as Professional Development opportunities.  Student events provide our county's students with the opportunity to show what they have learned as well as the opportunity to celebrate their academic achievements.  Please check back to this page for relevant information concerning what is new in the area of History and Social Studies.
