Scholarships
Kern County Science Foundation Scholarship Applicants have shown evidence of strong interest and achievement in the sciences or engineering. Applicants should have participated in at least one Kern County Regional (or equivalent) Science Fair during their high school years. The scholarship application is available by clicking on Kern County Science Foundation Scholarship Application. The amount of the scholarship is set at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee of the Kern County Science Foundation.
There are two sources of scholarships for students at California State University, Bakersfield. One is SPARC, Student Preparation for Academic Research Careers, for incoming freshman or sophomores. The other is MARC, Minority Access to Research Careers for juniors and seniors.
