Instructional Resources
The California State Board of Education adopts instructional materials for Kindergarten to Grade Eight. These materials align to the California Content Standards in their respective subjects. At the high school level, instructional materials are adopted at the local level, with the district board of education certifying that the materials align to the standards.Mathematics Instructional Materials
The 2008 Mathematics Adoption is currently under consideration by the State Board of Education. Once their decision has been made in November, 2007 Kern County Superintendent of Schools will host a Math Publisher Fair on February 27, 2008, noon to approximately 5:00 pm. More information will follow.
